Newly built by ToTs RETRO with all New Components and New Old Stock Original Parts,   with 1581 JiffyDOS ROM, WD 1770 controller or a NEW Alternative-lower power chip, 8k Ram, Rockwell 6502 CPU  processor running at 2mhz or more and the Commodore MOS 8520A chip or New Alternative . All chips and logic chips tested before shipping and fully socketed.

I use the COREi64 enhanced replica board designed by Thomas C. to build this, now exclusively available only at ToTs RETRO. The Case is an original COREi64 3D Design, also now exclusively available only at ToTs RETRO.

DOES come with Switching 2 Amp power supply, No serial Cables are included, you must supply your own.  Warranty covers all components inside the disk drive. Does not cover damage from falling, dropping  , water or flooding, improper use or over voltage from poor PSU.  I recommend you use a new verified power supply That can handle at least 1.5-2amps.  All components have been tested and working great before they ship to you. The 1581 Dual Drive is ready for use out of the box.  Drive will be preconfigured 8 and 9 respectfully.
