I'm offering these Tantalum Capacitor Replacements as a maintenance free, no leak, set and forget upgrade for your Retro Macs.  When replacing capacitors the Black Line on the Yellow Tantalum Capacitor is the positive side.  Important: Place the Black Line side over the Positive side of the Surface Mount Capacitor Pads. 

Installing in reverse can cause damage to your Computer, blown chips or even a fire.  If your not comfortable performing the task, please, leave it to Professionals.

I also offer Replacement service if you don't want to do them yourself.  Currently servicing these Macs: Mac Classic, Classic II, Mac Color Classic, Mac Color Classic II, LC 520/550, LC 575, Performa 575 and PowerMac 6100 and it's variants. If your ready to do the replacement yourself below you will find all the Macs I currently have kits for. The kits includes the exact amount Tantalum Capacitors necessary to recap your logic board. Each Kit Varies.  You must provide your own tools and equipment to perform the task.

I do not include soldering instructions or board instruction, some knowledge is required to perform this job, do some research before tackling the task. Make a map (take pictures) of the Caps that you remove, it's values and where they went.  This will help you in remembering where they go.  Take your time, do not force the caps off or on. Clean the mount pads.  Be gentle to your Retro Mac.
